We sell a USB hardware product. One-time purchase, $179, no subscriptions. We need someone to find the people who want it and put it in front of them.
You'll own paid acquisition end to end — strategy, creative, landing pages, media buys, and optimization. Google Ads (Search) is the starting point, but we want someone who can go beyond that — custom media buys, unconventional channels, whatever converts.
You'll also identify and manage YouTube creator sponsorships, negotiating deals and owning those relationships directly.
We're looking for a guerrilla marketer. Someone who understands how to find highly profitable placements, test them cheaply, and scale what works. You should be comfortable creating advertising creative and landing pages yourself.
We have attribution and conversion tracking in place. You'd plug into that system and work closely with our technology team to build reports and optimize campaigns. Reports directly to the CEO.
Compensation scales with advertising revenue and efficiency. If you can spend profitably, we'll keep scaling together.
What we're looking for
- Experience planning and executing paid media campaigns
- Experience with Google Ads (Search)
- Able to create advertising creative and landing pages
- Able to identify, negotiate, and manage YouTube creator sponsorships
- Knows how to find underpriced attention and test new channels quickly
- Data-literate — you can read dashboards and make decisions from them
- Self-directed. This isn't a managed role with daily check-ins.
- Bonus: technically literate
- Bonus: experience with content creation — we think candid converts
- Bonus: familiarity with peripheral software (Lua, AutoHotkey, Stream Deck, etc.)
- Consumer hardware or electronics experience is a plus, not a requirement
